He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim and Carmo Alves (Nunes). He is survived by: his spouse Conceicao Alves (Teixeira); his children, Amandio N. Alves, Jr. of Naugatuck, Jennifer Jardim of Cheshire and Sarah Piech (Alex) of Frisco, TX; his grandchildren, Alexya, Brayden, Emma, Ava, Nash and Noah; and his siblings, Isabel Marques, Theresa Lopes of Florida, Jose Alves of Naugatuck and Helena Alves of Guilford. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, other loved ones, and friends.
