He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Lewis and Ellen Lewis (Watson); his stepson Nick Ferrigno, Jr.; and his sister Margaret Wardle. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Lewis (Laffargue); his son William E. Lewis III (DeDe); his granddaughter Narisara Mystijade of Mystic; his stepchildren, Kerri Barber (Paul) of North Stonington, Scott Ferrigno of Westerly and Jackie Bailey (Larry) of Pawcatuck; his niece Bonnie; and his nephew John Wardle. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
