It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Trude Ria Brierley of Mystic, Connecticut, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Trude Ria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Trude Ria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Brierley (Sweet) and William Augustine Brierley. She is survived by: her sibling Lissa Webster of Wakefield, RI; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew Palmer of Preston, CT, Sailor Ryan Palmer of Preston, CT, Samantha Palmer of Preston, CT and Kaitlin Palmer of Hope Valley, RI.; her niece Ronnie-Lee Palmer (Phillip) of Preston; her cousin Paula Cote Yoder; her friend June Bennet; and her close friend Janet.
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (260 Harland Rd, Norwich, CT 06360).
