He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlene Kotfer (Sudie) and Ralph Kotfer; and his siblings, Tim, Tom Kotfer and Tammy Kaufman.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Kotfer (Christina), Madeline and Juliet Kotfer (Laurie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
