He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mines and Sophie Mines; his siblings, Ralph Mines, Lillian Motz and Sidney Mines; and his child Jewel Mines.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Vera, Nicholas Mazzella and Wyatt Schildt; his nephew Michael Mines; and his daughter-in-law Darcy. He is also survived by his three sons, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
