It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Saltina M. Barber of Mystic, Connecticut, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Saltina leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Maderia and Mary Maderia (Sylvia). She is survived by: her children, Donald I. Barber Jr. (Michelle) and Donna Barber Dunn (William Hebert); and her grandchildren, Keith Dunn, Jayme LaMay, Heather Barber and Chelsea Barber. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
