With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rune W. Anderson (Mystic, Connecticut), who passed away on December 25, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Erik and Gunhild Anderson; his former wife Sylvia Anderson (Dunlop); his sisters, Britta and Dagny; and his grandson Michael Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne K. Anderson (Widstrom); his sons, John Anderson of Auburn, IN and Paul Anderson of Acworth, GA; and his stepchildren, Sharon Merriman of Mystic, CT, Joseph and Jill Stanley of Marietta, GA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor may be made to the American Bible Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
