It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert J. Young of Mystic, Connecticut, born in Charlestown, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 3, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert C. Young and Marguerite "Toots" Young (Kelly); his wife Mary Young (Sullivan); and his children, Robert, Sean, Richard, Barbara, Michael, Gerard, Stephen, Joseph, Donal, Bridget, Joshua, Eileen, Caleb and Seamus. He was also cherished by 21 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 9 of his siblings, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Social distancing guidelines will be in place when entering the funeral home on Sunday and church on Monday. His burial will be held privately.
