We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2024, Peggy Ann Dufour in Mystic, Connecticut, born in Westerly, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Peggy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Peggy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bradley S. Dufour; and her parents, John Scira and Florence Scira. She is survived by: her siblings, John Scira of Groton, MA., Linda Anderson of Ormond Beach, FL, Francine Bargnesi of Pawcatuck and Gail Jumbalick of Raeford, NC. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (60 Liberty St, Pawcatuck, CT 06379).
