She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Verity and Katherine V. Kenure; her brother Russell; her son Charles H. Metcalf III; and her daughter-in-law Dolores.
She is survived by: her brother Thomas W Verity of Niantic; her children, Katherine M. Davis (Charles), Thomas W V Metcalf of North Stonington and James A Metcalf of Mystic; her grandchildren, Christopher A. Metcalf, Kathleen E. Johnson (Michael), Ian C. Davis (Taylor), James E. Davis (Kristie), Kendall Metcalf, Michele Walworth (Douglas) and Robert Faiella (Alison); her close friend Alan "Butch" Whitford (late Kathleen); and also, Annie, Maryanne and Arianne. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
