She is survived by: her siblings, Victoria, Walter and Dorley; the father of her children Frank Howard; her grandson Robert; her spouse Thames Valley Steel; and her sons, Palmer, Charles and Robert. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She fought for years against Alzheimer's disease but kept her kind spirit and light-hearted smile throughout the battle.
