He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Captain Merle Charles Hansen and Audrey Keech Hansen; his son Mace; his wife Christine Thurlow Hansen of Griswold, CT; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Deanna Hansen of Norwalk, CT; his son Tyler; his daughter-in-law Jayme Hansen of Ledyard, CT; and his grandsons, Maxwell and James Hansen.
