It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia O'Rourke (Mystic, Connecticut), born in Stonington, Connecticut, who passed away on February 3, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Serrano and Mary Serrano (Moniz); her husband John D. O'Rourke; and her siblings, Joseph Serrano, Anna Hancock, Marguerite Rollinson, Mary Sherman and Francis Serrano.
She is survived by: her sons, John D. O'Rourke II of Memphis, TN and Kevin O'Rourke (Sharon) of Pawcatuck; her siblings, Rose McGaw of Stonington and Anthony Serrano (Sandra) of Pawcatuck; her granddaughter Kathleen Werner; and her great grandchild Ryan Werner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
