He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schuster and Marian Schuster; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his daughters, Jennifer Wachen of Massachusetts and Julie DeVasto of Massachusetts; his sons-in-law, Matthew Wachen and Brian DeVasto; his grandsons, William and Oliver Wachen; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Schuster of Minnesota and Fred Kotfer of Groton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
