It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan M. Cerniglia of Mystic, Connecticut, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Veronica Gorges (Brennan) and George Michael Gorges. She is survived by: her husband Dick (Dick); her siblings, Marianne Darcy and Charles Gorges (Garrison) of Cold Spring; her sons, Richard Cerniglia of Gales Ferry, CT and Jason Cerniglia of Mystic, CT; her daughters-in-law, Eileen Cerniglia (Higgins) and Jennifer Horrigan-Cerniglia; and her grandsons, Conner and Ryan Cerniglia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and more dear friends.
