He was predeceased by: his parents, Anita Sanders (Ouellette) and Lester C. Sanders of Liverpool, NY; and his brother Timothy of New Bern, NC.. He is survived by: his daughter Alicia Ernest (Michael Ernest) of Weedsport, NY; his brothers, George (Janet Rosen) of Milford, CT and David of Syracuse, NY; his sister-in-law Candace Sanders (Chichersky) of New Bern, NC.; his nieces and nephews, David Sanders, Jr. of Syracuse, NY, Alexander of Springwater, NY, Kara Sanders of Vancouver, WA and Emily Sanders; and also Ronin S. Liebert of New Bern, NC..
In lieu of flowers, Jim would have wanted his family and friends to donate to Camp Woodland (http://www.cnyscouts.org).
