She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Futterer and Frieda Futterer (Eckhoff). She is survived by: her spouse Eino "Fred" Kerttula; her sister Karin Mecke of Hanover, Germany; her brother-in-law James Kerttula of Poulsbo, Washington; and her nephew Eric Kerttula of Seattle.
