She was predeceased by: her parents, Tab Holmes and Myra "Effie" Holmes (Neal); her husband John Etienne, Jr.; and her brother Eddie Holmes. She is survived by: her friend Gwendolyn; her children, Trina Everett, Walter Holmes and Jamella Etienne; and her siblings, Ollie "Faye" Hudson, Kenneth Holmes and Mitchell Holmes. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
