He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cunningham and Florence Cunningham (Read). He is survived by: his siblings, Esther, Avis, Annie, Ida Mae, Lillian, Luther, Florence, James, Francis and Linwood; his child Little League; his wife Elaine Martine Cunningham; his children, Debbie DeAngelis (Peter) of Waterford, Kathy Celtruda (Dominick) of Mystic and Jeni DeCaro (John) of Westerly, RI; and his grandchildren, Camden, Keegan, Lyra, Giova, Vincent and Gabriel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church (69 Groton Long Point Rd, Groton, CT 06340).
