He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Francis Dowd and Florence Elma Dowd; his wife Ramona Anderson; his sons, Edward Michael Dowd (Elizabeth), Terrence Raymond Dowd, Mark Patrick Dowd and Christopher Eric Dowd (Nancy); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Shauna, Brenton and Connor; and his great grandchild Henry.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Dr. Dowd's memory to St. Patrick's Building Fund, Mystic, CT, or the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center.
