She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert E "Pearly" Gates, Jr. and June Davies Gates; her siblings, Elbert "Ted" Gates, III and Constance "Connie" Gates; and her daughter-in-law Diane Hurd.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Childers (Steve) of Springfield, MO and Jamie (Laura).
