She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gilger and Marilyn Gilger. She is survived by: her husband Timothy Lewis; her daughters, Ryan Kate Hood, Samantha Roy and Jackie Lewis; her grandchildren, Keagan, Cooper, Patrick, Bailey and Kennedy; and her brother Jeff Gilger. She is also survived by sons-in-law, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, who were some of her best friends, as well as many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home (12 Ocean Ave, New London, CT 06320). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Church (10 Huntington St, New London, CT 06320).
