She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Maynard and Leslie Gardner; her husband Harold Irving Hewlitt Jr.; her sons, Gary Hewlitt and Harold Hewlitt (Buddy); her siblings, Leslie Gardner, Evelyn Glynn and Betty Gay; and her grandson Robert Howard Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Fisher (Rick) of Lisbon, Linda Olisky (Rick) of Pawcatuck and Karen Carchidi (Joe) of Norwich; and her siblings, Nancy Crandall and William Gardner of Waterford. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
