He is survived by: his son James W. Diaz; his daughter-in-law Danielle Verraneault; his daughters, Christina Santos and Jennifer Diaz; and his siblings, Ruben, Ernesto, Ramon Colon, Maria Colon, Carmen Colon, Luz Colon and Irma Colon.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
