He was predeceased by: his son Thomas; his brothers, Ernest and Harold Plassmann; and his wife Janette Wibberley. He is survived by: his children, Ellen Durand (Paul) and Carl Plassmann (Cheryl); his grandsons, Booth O'Connell and David Plassmann; and his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Leonard, Jessica Pegurri and Brad Favreau.
