With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel E. Fontaine of Moosup, Connecticut, who passed away on September 8, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julienne Matteau (Rouillard) and Lionel Matteau; and her siblings, Dennis Matteau and Regina Lyons. She is survived by: her husband Roger J. Fontaine of Plainfield; her children, Gerard Fontaine of Moosup, Joel Fontaine of Putnam, Lisa Wells (Charles) of Danielson, Cindy Hart (Thomas) of Sterling and Lynn Paquin (Kenneth) of Dayville; her siblings, Roger Matteau of Canterbury, David Matteau of Plainfield, Gaetane Brunelle of Plainfield and Celeste St. James of Moosup; her grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan Labbe, CJ Wells, Ryan, Megan, Jeremey Hart, Brendon, Daren, Madison and Sadie Paquin; and her great grandchild Brantley.
Due to COVID restrictions social distancing and masks will be required when attending services.
