She was predeceased by: her husband John Kalinowski; her parents, Michael Gowac and Anna Gowac (Stankowski); her siblings, John, Stanley, Joseph, Edward Gowac, Josephine Buchheit, Sophie Comeau, Stacia Shea, Victoria Golub, Catherine Paulter and Caroline Drenga; and her son-in-law Walter Kostoss.

She is survived by: her children, Anastasia Kostoss of Moodus and John Kalinowski (Nancy) of Portland; her grandchildren, Michael Kostoss (Dongyun "Maggie") of Guilford, Cynthia Stackowitz (Timothy) of East Hampton, Beth Cole (Ryan) of Portland and Kevin Kalinowski (Elizabeth) of Wake Forest, NC; and her sister Frances Parkus of Moodus. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren.
