He was predeceased by: his parents, James Craig and Charlene Periot; his son James Craig Jr.; and his siblings, Robert, Lynn and Sharon.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Craig (Salemi); his children, Sally Rollins (Robert Rollins) and Patrick Craig (Sarah); his daughter-in-law Susan Craig; and his granddaughters, Cassandra Caster (Jacob Caster) and Marina Eggleston (Mark Eggleston). He is also survived by friends and fishing brothers.
