He was predeceased by: his parent Claremont A.; and his spouse Patricia A. Dougherty. He is survived by: his parent Cecilia R. Dougherty (Malinak); his child Patrick Dougherty Jr.; his wife Paula of Laguna Niguel; his grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Ashley, Jessica, Brenna and Amelia; his siblings, Claremont Dougherty of Myrtle Beach, S. C., Richard Dougherty of Chardon and Cecilia Clement; and also, Michael Dougherty (Reneé) of Oakdale, Rachel Dougherty (Jason Ali) of New York, N. Y. and Doris Mausling of Rome. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Patrick's name be made to Eastern Connecticut Hematology and Oncology (ECHO) - 330 Washington St., Suite 220, Norwich, CT 06360; the American Cancer Society; and St. John the Evangelist Church in Uncasville.
