We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Joan Ellen Ziegler (Montville, Connecticut), born in Jewett City, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Cyr and Ellen Cyr (Dawley); her husband Robert P. Ziegler; and her children, Edward and Susan.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Matt Ziegler, Michele Coonan, Nicholas Birtles, Jordan Birtles, Sydnie Ziegler, Ryan Ziegler, Alexa Cardello and Edward L. Clesowich. She is also survived by 5 children and 8 grandchildren, with a great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made in her name to Dr. Charles E. Murphy School Activity Fund, 500 Chesterfield Road, Oakdale CT 06370 to support and assist children in need.
