Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Raposa (Montville, Connecticut), who passed away at the age of 85, on November 13, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evaristo Oliver and Ruth Rapoza (Lucier); his wife Julia Fay Raposa (Benson); and his brother Ronald Rapoza. He is survived by: his children, Darlene Allen (Scott) of Norwich, Kimberly Hanley of Plainfield, George Oliver Raposa Jr. (Rachel) of Lisbon and Theresa Brodeur of Waterford; his grandchildren, Thomas Hanley, Cory Hanley, Andrew Hanley, Vanessa Newell, Gina Donovan, Amanda Marshall and Jennifer Marshall; his great grandchildren, Henry Newell and Emma Hanley; and his sister Barbara Tamaran (Michael) of Springfield, Mass. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
