She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sypher and Eva Sypher (Malcarne) of Chester, CT.. She is survived by: her husband Bruce M. Royce; her children, Scott Royce (Kishan) of Black Foot and Kim Jacobs (Matthew) of Norwich, CT; her brothers, James A. Sypher of Deep River, CT and Ronald G. Sypher of Beverly Hills; her grandchildren, Sarah E. Royce, Colin M. Jacobs and Maeve A. Jacobs; and her great grandchild Gerald L. Lemieux. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
