We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Vito James Melfi of Monroe, Connecticut, born in Stamford, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Melfi and Margaret Melfi (Romaniello); his wife Ellen; and his sisters, Lucy Zangari and Irene Goldkopf.

He is survived by: his children, Susan St. Pierre (Shelton), Matthew (Susan), Walter (Gloria), Mark (Linda), Lynn (Robert) and DeVerna (NY); his grandchildren, Jennifer Kochiss (Matthew), Marc St (Chris), Dana Firmender (Ryan), Jeff St (Carla), Steven (Francesca), Daniel (Vanessa), Thomas Melfi (Jessica), Ashley Drakeley (Bill), Lucas, Will Melfi, Maggie and Grace DeVerna; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua, Jacob, Leah Kochiss, Vincent, Sofia Firmender, Tucker St. Pierre, Claire, Lyla, Evie, Anna and Oscar Vito Melfi. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations to Blessed Sacrament Church.
