It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Joyce Duphiney of Monroe, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on September 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Cain, Sr. and Virginia Ruth Zoldy Cain. She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Melissa Duphiney (George Kottas) of Brooklyn, NY, Brian J. Duphiney of New Haven and Caitlin Duphiney of Meriden; her siblings, John F. Cain, Jr. (Colleen) of Stratford, Elizabeth Cain of Newtown, Kathleen Stoppel (Robert) of Trumbull, Patricia Duphiney (William) of Stratford, Ted Cain (Kate Ruane) of Plymouth and Margaret Cain of Stratford; and her grandchildren, Elias Cian Duphiney-Kottas and Beatrice Michaela Duphiney-Kottas of Brooklyn, NY. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, as well as aunts and uncles.
