With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth C. Gergely of Monroe, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth C. Gergely to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Gergely; her parents, Donald MacCormack and Jennie Shephard MacCormack; and her brothers, Donald MacCormack and Roy MacCormack.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Cascella (Tony) of Southbury, Bill Gergely III (Dana) of North Carolina and Jamie Bruno (Jim) of Southbury; and her grandchildren, Alicia, Mitchell, Megan, Blythe, Bo and Tanner. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ruth's name to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
