He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wheelin and Angeline Wheelin (Stroh); his sister Marilyn (Fred Muller); and his in-laws, Hilda Luzio Livi and Manuel Luzio.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Jennifer (Eileen), Brian (Leslie) and Katie (Bill); and his grandchildren, Connor, Alex, Ben, Kenzie, Molly and Colin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home (315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Jude Church (707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
