He is survived by: his children, Anne Simpson Doucette of Fairfield and Edward Raymond Simpson, III (Ted); his wife Diantha Demetriou of Centerport, NY; and his grandchildren, Edward Raymond Simpson IV (Theo), Katina Esther Simpson, Jacqueline Renee Simpson and Nathan Hartley Simpson.
