Michael Anthony left this world on February 25, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Worobel and Mary Klimkowska Worobel; and his siblings, Virginia Sannino, Walter, Joseph and Stephen Worobel.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Jisonna Worobel; his children, Michael A. Worobel Jr. (Dorene), Kimberly Henderson (Jerry) and Robin W. Scott (Ward); his siblings, Andrew Worobel, Dorothy Smith, Helen Tomac and Kathleen Albanese; his grandchildren, Wesley Worobel, Frances Gulley, Alyssa Scott, Michael Scott, Gregory Worobel and Kira Collins; and his great grandchildren, Lilly and Lilah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Eugene's Catholic Church (72 Culvern St, Asheville, NC 28804).
