She was predeceased by: her parents, William Branston and Janet Branston (Morrison); and her husband John Kovacs. She is survived by: her children, Ruth Bosco (Tony) and John Kovacs; her grandchildren, Anthony and Julianna Bosco; and her sister Ruth Branston.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated in May's name to either the ASPCA or the American Cancer Society.
