She was predeceased by: her husband Jorge Borges; her parents, Domingos Duarte and Felisbina Gomes; and her siblings, Armando Duarte, Antonio Duarte, Abilio Duarte, Otilia Duarte and Laurinda Baia.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Borges and Jorge Borges of Monroe; and her sisters, Elsa Monteiro (Massimino) of Bridgeport, Francesca of Bridgeport, Carmo of Bridgeport and Benta Ferreira of Newtown. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and several brothers and sisters-in-law.
