Madonna Mondo Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madonna Mondo of Monroe, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Madonna Mondo to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Shepley and Charles Shepley; her husband James P. Mondo Sr.; and her son James P. Mondo Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Bruce C. Mondo (Kathy Mondo) and Robin Wheeler (late David Wheeler); and her grandchildren, Donna Schiebe (Tom), Michelle Delos (Chris), James Mondo III (Jackie), Bruce Mondo Jr. (Katie), Michael Mondo, Brian Wheeler (Casey) and Laura Wheeler (Bridgett). She is also survived by Thirteen great-grandchildren, 3 step great- grandchildren, 1-great-great grandchild and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home (315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Jude Parish Church (707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery (2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615).
