John J. Pertesis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John J. Pertesis of Monroe, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James "Demetrios" Pertesis. He is survived by: his mother Mina Pertesis; his daughters, Mina (Dimitrios Avdalas) and Maria (Steven Rountos); his sisters, Eleni (Peter Filipidis) and Effie (Themi Kolitsas); and his grandchildren, Chrysoula Avdalas, Panayiotis and Katerina Rountos. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (4070 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
