It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan L. Szymanski of Monroe, Connecticut, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester McKeel and Amy McKeel (Hess); her husband Henry V. Szymanski; and her sister Nancy J. Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Szymanski of Monroe and Sheri Szymanski of Monroe; and her caregivers, Kathy C., Helen, Kristina, Sandra, Diana and Pat. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
