She was predeceased by: her husband George J. Carris; her parents, Alvin Ariel and Lillian Ariel; her grandson Ty Tomasko; and her sisters, Adele Parketon and Verina Wooten.
She is survived by: her children, George M. Carris of Danbury, Michael A. Carris (Janis) of Monroe and Susan C. Tomasko (Edward) of Shelton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
