It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florina Florescu of Monroe, Connecticut, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ion Bucovan and Marioara Wolf. She is survived by: her children, Alexandru Florescu, George Florescu (Cara) and Anca Ghelmegeanu (Alexandru); her grandchildren, A. J. Florescu, Lucian Florescu, Kellan Florescu, Kyle Ghelmegeanu and Aidan Ghelmegeanu; and her close friend David Mihalov. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and cousins.
