With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Joseph Lurix of Monroe, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Skerencak Lurix; his parents, Francis Lurix and Sarah Plude Lurix; his daughter Jacqueline Lurix; and his sisters, Joan Werner and Jean Ruff.
He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Lurix (Carmen Murillo) of St. Cloud, Fla. and Justin Lurix of Monroe; and his siblings, Buddy Lurix (Jeanne), Eddie Lurix (Anna) and Jo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
