It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elvira Da Graca Ferreira of Monroe, Connecticut, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Luis Francisco Ferreira; and her parents, Antonio Carloto and Ismenia DaGraca Carloto. She is survived by: her daughter Maria Bigelow (Alan) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Jennifer Cannon, Jeffrey and Justin Bigelow; her great grandchildren, Karley and Kaylee; her brother Anibal Carloto (Judite) of Beacon Falls; and her brother-in-law Manuel Ferreira (Otilia) of Portugal. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request all attending the visiting hours Sunday please consider bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to the food pantry in Elvira's name; there will be a basket for collection at the funeral home Sunday.
