She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Harper and Kathyrn Harper; her husband Charles E. Thompson; and her son-in-law William Melton. She is survived by: her daughters, Gwen Melton and Anne Beckwith; her son-in-law Chip Beckwith; her grandchildren, George Beckwith, Jessica Melton and Erin Harrington (David Harrington); and her great grandchildren, Ellie Harrington, Ava Harrington, Billy Harrington and Conor Harrington.
