She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sheehy and Lillian Sheehy (Gross); and her brother David Sheehy. She is survived by: her husband Francis R. "Brut" Markut; her sons, Frank Markut (Dawn) of Newtown, David Markut of Monroe and Sean Markut of West Haven; her grandchildren, Christopher, Erin and David; and her siblings, George Sheehy and Kathleen Petro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
