Charles Vaast III Obituary
Charles Vaast III, 74, of Monroe, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Norwalk Hospital. Son of the late Charles and Irene (Buckley) Vaast, he worked as a local realtor for many years. He was a prominent member of the Norwalk Board of Realtors and the Wilton Garden Club. He had a green thumb for gardening. His passion was raising orchards and working in his flower gardens. He enjoyed playing billiards and was involved in many fundraisers and charity events.
Friends are invited to gather on Monday June 13, from 5-7PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
